We invite investigators to submit scientific abstracts and clinical vignettes for presentation at this
international conference geared towards hepatology, hematology, transplant surgery, interventional
radiology, anesthesiology, and pathology.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically to livercoag2017@virginia.edu by 7/30/2017
Please indicate – “Abstract – Coagulation in Liver Disease 2017” in Subject line of e mail.
Abstracts (1 page limit) must identify – Title, Authors, Introduction, Methods or Case Discussion,
Results, and Discussion.

Abstract preparation: Please set your page margins prior to typing your abstract (Top: 1 inch; Left: 1 inch; Right: 1 inch; Bottom: 1 inch). Center the title of the abstract in uppercase and in bold. On a new line, type the name of the authors (include 1st initial), followed by the institution, city and state. Skip a line between the title/authors and the body of the abstract. Single space the body using a 12 point Arial font. Use only one side of one 8.5″ x 11″ document for all text and tables. The abstract must be in .pdf or Microsoft Word format and written in English. Accepted abstracts will be printed as submitted in a research program.

Accepted abstracts will receive notification by 8/02/2017
Scientific abstracts and clinical vignettes will be reviewed and selected based on scientific merit.
Abstract Submission Deadline: 7/30/2017
Acceptance Notification: 8/02/2017

Please note:
. Abstract must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content.
. All submissions for clinical vignettes must respect patient confidentiality. No names, hospital ID numbers or any other identifying information can appear in the abstract or poster.
. The Primary Author must be the person submitting the abstract. Submitting an abstract on behalf of someone else is prohibited.
. Only one abstract per person.
. Abstracts presented at previous conferences are OK to submit
